Job Opening for Architectural Support Staff
Ehresman Architects is seeking a part-time and/or full-time Architectural Support Staff.
We are an established firm located in Troy, MI, with a diverse and challenging client list. We offer some flexibility in scheduling and work locations once the staff member is proficient in our processes and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Friendly, with a high level of professionalism as the firm’s first impression to callers and visitors.
- Responsible, dependable, multi-tasking, self-starter who maintains a positive attitude under pressure.
- Solid written and verbal communications skills.
- Discretion and sensitivity to confidential matters.
- Self-motivated hard working and detail oriented professional.
- Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office products, and Adobe.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2022-2025.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Business Manager
- Answering phones and greeting visitors.
- Assist with filing.
- Processing of project submittals and RFI’s.
- Other misc. tasks/projects.
- Assist the Senior Architect, Senior Project Manager or Project Manager
- Perform code and ordinance research.
- Field measure existing buildings for development of background drawings.
- Assist with red-lines and general CAD drafting.
- Assist Interior Designer
- Assist with maintaining the design library and order samples as needed.
- Assist with PowerPoint presentations for interior finish concepts.
- Assist with assembling interior finish sample boxes for Client approval.
